10th Collective Creative Agency is a cross-platform multimedia production, brand management/consulting company, and advertising agency whose purpose is to empower, curate, and grow athlete, entertainer, and corporate brands through various platforms and mediums.  The goal is to create an incubator for our clients to share their own voice, ideas, and creativity while putting the power of the messaging and the story in the hands of the storyteller.

We are 100% minority owned consisting of independent creatives.  Collectively, we have over 25 years of experience in TV and film, including live event production, commercials and PSAs, documentaries, sports videos, and other short and long form content.  We have won over 20 awards, including multiple regional Emmys, Telly Awards, Communicator Awards, and a Peabody Award. Our partners, Talooka Studio, are a black, LBGQT+, women-owned design studio. They are creative entrepreneurs with over 20+ years of experience in brand identity, graphic, and web design.

Curtis is an accomplished corporate executive. He worked for ESPN in several marketing and sales positions before moving on to BET where he was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of BET Action Pay-Per-View and BET International. During his tenure, he helped BET build its subscriber base from 18.8 million to 65 million homes. He moved on to pro sports as the COO of the Washington Mystics. Symonds has also served as the President of the T. Howard Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to promoting women and people of color in entertainment and multimedia platforms. He is a recipient of the 1998 National Cable Television Association (NCTA) Vanguard Award for marketing excellence, the highest award for marketing in the cable industry.

Will McKinley III is an Emmy, Telly, and Peabody Award-Winning cinematographer. McKinley has over 10 years of experience in the field of video production working on commercials, television shows, digital content, and documentaries for the Travel Channel, Food Network, PBS, Baltimore Orioles, Washington Wizards, and Washington Capitals. He received a Peabody Award for his work on 180 Days: A Year Inside An American High School serving as an Associate Producer / Cinematographer. McKinley also produced, filmed, and edited a PBS magazine-style mini-series titled The District on current affairs in D.C. Working for the Wizards Wizards he produced and edited several short-form digital content pieces. His most notable piece was DP on, Seeing is Believing: The Caron Butler story, which won an Emmy Award and a Telly Award.

Mansa Johnson found his passion in production at an HBCU working on a documentary called, Akata. He has since gone on to serve as a cinematographer for projects with the NBA and Washington Wizards, artists including Akon, Common, and Jazmine Sullivan, as well as Radio One digital content, and The Grammys Recording Academy, Washington, D.C. Chapter. He has also earned an Emmy- nomination for a project with Monumental Sports called, Sideline Stories and also won a Telly Award for a project called “Faithful 2 the Grind” with 2017 NBA #1 Draft pick, Markelle Fultz.
